What Is The Optimum Way To Provide Exemplary Ethics Training For Undergraduate Engineering Students?

In today’s world, there are a host of decisions which we make on a daily basis which involve ethical standards and practices. As part of our School of Engineering ABET Student Learning Outcomes, Senior Seminar has been selected as a key course in assessing the quality, extent and impact of your exposure to ethics, ethical practices, codes, and training on your ability to maintain high ethical standards throughout your career. Please reflect on your undergraduate career so far and provide a descriptive synopsis of the ways in which you have been exposed to ethics. Please provide an honest assessment of your opinion regarding if your exposure to ethics has been sufficient. What is the optimum way to provide exemplary ethics training for undergraduate engineering students?

dimensional puzzle in Solid Works

ENGR 102-INTRODUCTION TO CAD

Project 2: Three Dimensional Conceptualization

Objective

The objective of Project 2 is to make a three dimensional puzzle in SolidWorks as a way to practice conceptualization of an idea. To conceptualize how each piece fits in the puzzle, to assemble the puzzle together.

Introduction

In this project you must design a three dimensional puzzle that when assembled, becomes a cube of six inches on a side. Each piece of the puzzle must fit to zero tolerance with no internal spaces. You will be free to make the pieces fit together any way you choose, but there should be at least six pieces. No two pieces should be the same, and only one piece can be of simple geometry such as a square or sphere. All sharp edges will have a fillet.

The above figure shows an example.

FOR THIS PROJECT YOU MUST WORK IN TEAMS OF TWO. Your partner will be assigned to you. A report is due with the project submission. The report template can be found posted on the blackboard site for the course.

HINT:

Sketch pieces first on paper before rendering them in SolidWorks. Sketch pieces one at a time, with a left view, top view, and front view to help aid your visual concept of what the 3_D image will look like. Assemble each piece as you construct them, to look for errors. As you assemble a pieces, sketch out the next pieces. Assemble using “collision detection” to help look for errors.

EXTRA CREDIT:

Make something besides a cube, such as a sphere or a star (worth 20%).

atmospheric pollutant

I want someone who is an expert at Six Sigma, I need him to explain the process Mapping, DMAIC, and SIPOC.

TASK 2 respond to this: This week’s discussion board question asks what types of pollutants cause deterioration to vehicle paint, luster, and integrity within the oil and gas production industry. The oil and gas production industry is a large producer of methane emissions as well as VOC’s and ozone (EPA, 2019).

What we learned from this week’s reading is that the appearance and durability of paints are affected by natural weathering processes. Paint weathering is accelerated by environmental factors such as moisture, temperature, sunlight, and fungi. These natural weathering processes can then be greatly sped up by pollutants such as acids and ozone within the air. Air pollutants can affect the durability of paint on the vehicles by promoting chalking, discoloration, loss of gloss, erosion, blistering, and peeling (Godish, Davis, & Fu, 2014).

It’s because of these constant atmospheric pollutant emissions is why these vehicles tend to look much older and more used than what their mileage and age reflects. Often these discolorations in paint color are permanent, and require the vehicle to be sanded down and repainted prior to being resold once they are traded off for a newer (cleaner) model.

Managing The Risk Of CSR

Organizations typically create an organizational-level vision or approach to corporate social responsibility, and then develop initiatives and projects designed to achieve that vision. If the initiatives or projects do not meet the goals that were established, the organization may fail to meet its vision. Damage to a company’s reputation is only one of the many risks associated with failing to live up to social responsibility promises. Proactive and continuous risk management is one way to help organizations avoid the failure in the first place and mitigate the consequences should it occur.

For this Discussion, use the Walden Library and/or search the Web to find an example of a failed CSR initiative:

1-Briefly describe the initiative and the nature of the failure.

2- What were the consequences of the failure to the organization?

3- How might risk management practices have helped the organization avoid the failure?

4- How might risk management practices have helped the organization mitigate the consequences of the failure?

UAS Design Analysis And Conceptual Proposal (PLG1)

here are numerous examples of unmanned spacecraft, designed to meet specific applications and missions, ranging from testing and evaluation of system performance to exploration. For this activity, investigate three examples of unmanned spacecraft designs from the following periods (one from each):

  • 1950s-1970s
  • 1980s-1990s
  • 2000-present

Research, identify, and analyze the following:

Important Tip: Key Proposal Points

  • Purpose of the design, including driving factors that led to development
  • Design, including: a) functional capabilities, b) architecture, and c) unique components and elements
  • Differences with contemporary manned spacecraft capability and designs of the time, including benefits, limitations, and rationale justifying use

After conducting your three historical analyses, investigate emerging (new) needs that unmanned spacecraft may be well suited to support to propose a conceptual design to meet one or more, such needs. Clearly identify and support the perceived need with a high-level design, including presentation of architectural overview (subsystems to major elements), discussion of unique elements/components, and explanation of rationale supporting proposal.

This paper should be written in the most recent APA format, feature at least 12 total references (three per historical period and three for proposal), include at least 1,000 words, and feature the headings listed in this document.Preview the document

Save your assignment using a naming convention that includes your first and last name and the activity number (or description). Do not add punctuation or special characters. Submit your assignment by the end of the module week.

Your paper will automatically be evaluated through Turnitin when you submit your assignment in this activity. Turnitin is a service that checks your work for improper citation or potential plagiarism by comparing it against a database of web pages, student papers, and articles from academic books and publications.
