Assignment Steps
· Show research on the matter that is properly cited and referenced according to APA with references
· Create a substantive message would include a personal or professional experience as it relates to the particular theory, please provide examples. Word count   of each substantive participation 100-150 words of each one of the following subjects:
Provided an      example of one- and two-tailed statistical hypotheses for two-sample      independent and dependent sample data.
Provided an      example of p-value method to make rejection/non-rejection decisions for      evaluating the claims about difference of means, proportions, and      variances.
Provided an      example of difference between response variables, independent variables,      and treatments.
Provided an      example of One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) for managerial decisions      in marketing, finance, and human resources.
Provided an      example of Two-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) for making managerial      decisions in marketing, finance, and human resources.
Provided an      example of sampling      distributions and confidence intervals to make management decisions. Give      an example of how the sampling and confidence intervals can help in making      decisions in your personal or professional life.
The general focus of Chapter 10 is on testing hypotheses and constructing      confidence intervals about parameters from two populations (Black, 2017).      The Week Five assignment allows you to combine the knowledge of      descriptive statistics covered in Weeks 1 and 2 and one-sample hypothesis      testing to make managerial decisions. Based on the Week Five assignment      and Chapter 10, provide an example where a decision in      your professional or personal life had to be made based on parameters from      two different populations.
“Hypotheses      are tentative explanations of a principle operating in nature. They      are primarily a statement about a population parameter subjected to      verification” (Black, 2017, p. 267). Some examples are:
· Pay is related to performance: People who are paid more perform better
· Consumers prefer Coke over all other cola drinks
· Billboard advertising is more effective than advertising in paper-based media
· Consumer confidence in the economy is increasing
There are other statements that have been made without necessarily being subjected to verification. Name two statements that you may have heard or may have said and you believe them to be true (hypotheses). What statistical evidence would you need to verify those hypotheses?
