Enterprise and Cloud Networks Assignment
The purpose of this project is to create a unique physical and logical solution for a multi-building campus with an explanation for the design.
Key parameters:
the multi-building campus is multi-site
conceptually use a University as an example
the campus supports 70,000 students and 20,000 staff across six main sites with three international sites
building utilisation – three types (a) small 1,000 students and 200 staff (b) medium 2,000 students and 750 staff and (c) large 5,000 students and 2,000 staff
Cloud facilities are provided at the central campus utilising a private data centre provider
interconnection utilises AARNET – which also provides connectivity to the Internet in Sydney
traffic generated in enterprise network: students generate 250 MB average daily. staff generate 500 MB average daily
