For example, providing an affordable care to who are not covered by insurance 1. Write the professional purpose or mission. Practice the purpose principle by writing your responses to the following questions as they relate to your professional purpose: a. What am I trying to accomplish? b. What is the process(es) or activity(ies) involved in the response to a? (Be sure to use an active, not directional, verb.) c. What is the purpose of the response to b? d. What is the purpose of the response to c? e. What is the purpose of the response to d? f. What is my purpose according to my patients, clients, or customers? g. What may larger purpose eliminate the need to achieve this smaller purpose altogether? h. What is the right purpose for me to be working on? Describe how this purpose differs or does not differ from my original purpose.

A mission/professional purpose statement communicates the organization’s reason for being, and how it aims to serve its key stakeholders. Sometimes mission statements also include a summation of the firm’s values. Values are the beliefs of an individual or group, and in this case the organization, in which they are emotionally invested.
The question that professionals face inside and outside of the healthcare organizations is: “What exactly do you do?” This is a challenging question for most professionals due to the broad scope of their role in their healthcare organization’s supply/value chain. As primary investigators and facilitators of major product and practice changes, professionals are involved in key product, service and technology decisions within their healthcare organizations. Healthcare value analysis contributes to optimal patient outcomes through an evidenced-based systematic approach to review healthcare products, equipment, technology and services. Using recognized practices, organizational resources collaborate to evaluate clinical efficacy, appropriate use and safety for the greatest financial value
The health care industry carries some of the most weighty responsibilities of any career field. Accidents or negligence don’t just result in annoyance and a backup of paperwork. The consequences can be serious, even fatal, for the patients whose lives are in the balance. This is why health care performance and standard goals are set extremely high.
The primary goal in health care is to restore wellness and health to patients. It’s a lofty goal with a plethora of elements vital to its success. One of these is showing compassion for patients. Patients tends to frightened, in pain and confused about what’s happening to them. Health care professional should take the time to provide explanations and answer concerns in terms patients and their families can understand. They should empathize with their patients, never being dismissive, impersonal or disinterested. They should also educate patients and their families on how to provide aftercare and how any medications should be taken .Many people are responsible for providing patients with quality health care, from medical receptionists to specialists and everyone in between. Each shouldn’t work independently but, rather, strive to be part of a team whose common goal is to support their patients’ welfare. Open communication, mutual respect and a positive attitude are the elements of good teamwork. Empathy shouldn’t be reserved just for patients; team members should show appreciation for what each is experiencing. Personal differences should be set aside. They have no place in health care
Professionals in Health care are majorly exposed to danger, infectious diseases and hazardous materials. Safety is of the utmost concern at all times and applies to every phase of health care, such as the proper handling of blood samples, disposing of waste, sterilizing medical instruments and wearing examination gloves.Each team member should be intimately familiar with safety protocol and apply it at all times.maintaining client records as important as it is in the health care industry. Health care workers must identify each patient by at least two methods, ideally name and date of birth, to avoid such mistakes as administering the wrong medicine and treatment. Files should include medical histories that are as complete as possible, noting special conditions such as a history of seizures or allergies. Current medications a patient takes should be noted and the information shared with personnel.
