Project Description

 

The topic of thesis concerns the relationship between European international distribution company X and universities. The company X maintains relations with the universities for a long time by participating in job fairs, giving presentations and organizing open days for students in the company while promoting the company and recruiting students. However, company wants to know whether they promote itself and communicate with the students in the way students want to see and hear it. The company also wants to increase the number of students employed to have more young specialists in the company.

 

Problem Statement

 

  • The company is sending the messages already through Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, by organizing events in the company and participating in job fairs but it wants to know whether the channels are suitable, the message is right, delivery form is right and time is correct to attract more students.

 

Research Question

 

How can International company adjust its recruitment marketing strategy and recruitment activities to increase employer attractiveness for students?

 

Sub-questions:

  • What are different employer attractiveness dimensions to attract students?
  • What is the current recruitment marketing strategy in the company?
  • What are students attracted by when choosing company?
  • How do students perceive the current marketing strategy of the company?

 

Statement of objective (Purpose Statement)

 

  • To find out the successful way of adjusting the marketing recruitment strategy and activities and identifying significant factors for employer attractiveness while measuring the importance of them for students through conducting secondary research and collecting data from students and experts at university and company.

 

  • To analyze the channels of communication used by the company and advise what can be changed to increase the number of students recruited
