I am doing a research project and need help determining what type of statistical test to use. My research question is does a longer amount of maternity leave decrease the incidence of postpartum depression in mothers? I am trying to show a relationship between maternity leave and postpartum depression. I planned on looking at weeks of leave versus a yes or no for postpartum depression.
