Ans 1 – An example of product demand cycle would be smartphones. 5G phones are in the introductory phase, 4G /LTE phones are in the growth stage, 3G phones are in the maturity phase, and 2G phones with poor cameras are in the decline stage.
Ans 2 – Phone screen replacing
Strength – a constant flow of customers with damaged phone screens
availablilty of expensive screens for a higher profit margin
Weakness – dont have much marketing budget for this service
cost of original screens are higher than the local ones available in the market
Opportunity – take advantage of increasing sale of smartphones
increasing desire of brand new looking phones
Threats – competitive prices for cheaper screens
competition through local technicians offering the same service
Ans – Importance of packaging lies in protecting the product from damage. It present damage to the product while it is in transit and also when it is in store of the retailer. A perfect phone package would have enough space to fit in all the accesories, instruction mauals, etc. It would be less space consuming, have a cushioning to protect the delicate part of the phone ie the screen.
