There is usually a significant amount of discussion on how individuals are raised. What factors are considered in the paramount attempt to reshape habits?

In our attempts to reshape our habits, several factors come in play. These factors include:-
✓The relationships we keep or pursue:-There is a saying that goes, ‘ we the average of the five people we keep’. This means that the friends we hang around with reshape our character and habits. For instance, if we hang around with people who love studying, we will have a reading culture and almost always find ourselves studying. The friends can also affect our food choices, as they can influence what we eat and drink, and this reflects how our relationships with others affect our habits(Bargiota, Delizona, Tsitouras & Koukoulis, 2013).
✓The input we take or consume:- What we do, the things we read or the behaviors we see and learn reshape our character and habits. For instance, if we always love watching movies and television, we will be addicted with their programs on TV, and this will make us change our habits of watching the TV almost all the time. The characters in the TV programs we watch can affect our we behave and our habits.
✓The behaviors we acquire:-This relates to how we think, reason out and act regarding different phenomena. if we always hold a positive thinking perspective, it can help us in coping with adversity.
✓The environment we live in:- The environment will always be a critical factor that affects our habits and character. For instance, if we live in an environment that has a high crime rate, we will try to always be vigilant and stay home safe, or rather engage in the criminal activities ourselves. Our environment has a role to play in determining our habits.
