Your goal for this assignment: to Identify theoretical perspectives at work
For this assignment you will read several vignettes dealing with situations you may encounter with clients. You will be asked to identify one theoretical perspective (s) at work in the vignettes that will be provided to you and other passages relevant to the development of client.
Based on the Egan’s Skilled Helper Model, the vignette is Self-Efficacy. Self-efficacy, or your belief in your own abilities to deal with various situations, can play a role in not only how you feel about yourself, but whether or not you successfully achieve your goals in life. How would you work to increase your client’s self-efficacy?
