Chapter 1: Introduction
In an essay, an introduction is a beginning section which states the purpose and goals of the following writing. This is generally followed by the body and conclusion.
The introduction typically describes the scope of the document and gives the brief explanation or summary of the document. It may also explain certain elements that are important to the essay. The readers can have an idea about the essay before they actually start reading it.
In addition, the purpose of the Introduction is to stimulate the reader’s interest and to provide pertinent background information necessary to understand the rest of the paper. You must summarize the problem to be addressed, give background on the subject, discuss previous research on the topic, and explain exactly what the paper will address, why, and how. It motivates a reader to read your manuscript and to care about your results. An Introduction is usually 300 to 500 words, but may be more. Therefore, the Introduction needs to be very concise, well structured, and inclusive of all the information needed to follow the development of your findings.

Chapter 2: Background and Rationale / Context for the study
Have you read around your research topic? Have you provided background information of important historical and contextual events / research which informs the reader about why and how the research problem you are researching exists? What other studies have been conducted and what is their relevance to your research question / statement?

Chapter 3: Methodology (Literature Search strategy)

This should include search engines, database and key words. You should also discuss your exclusion and inclusion criteria and justify your decision.
You should systematically discuss how you carried out the search for the literature.
