Period prevalance is the portion of the population with a specific disease over a given period of time. on the other hand incidence is the number of new cases added to the population over the time.
Lifetime prevelance is the proportion of the population that has experienced a a specific disease at some point of their lifetime.
P= ID
where P is the prevelance, I is the icidence and D is the duration od the disease. It means a portion of the population will get a new disease and that decease will remain with the population for that specific duration of the disease.
