Concept maps help us to fully understand big ideas and relationships. The idea of democracy is complex. The purpose of this progressive assignment is to build on our understanding throughout the semester and from each other’s maps.
Review information from Modules 1-5 to create you concept map- including assigned reading and videos. This map should demonstrate your understanding of democracy and citizenship and be organized so others may also learn visually about this system of government.
Your first map will be considered a draft. I will provide you feedback and you will add additional information from upcoming modules before submitting the final map at the end of the semester.
Your first concept should include the following concepts and relationships.
