Comprehensive Clinical Profile: Section 1
This is the first of three sections in the comprehensive clinical profile that you will develop on a client of your choice. For this assignment, you will focus on completing Section 1 of the Comprehensive Clinical Profile Template.
It is required that you select a client with at least two chronic diseases. Fill out the template with the information that you gather during your client interaction. Record the following elements of your client’s profile:
Health history.
Current medications.
Family history.
Social history.
Functional assessment.
In addition, submit the genogram that you completed in the Unit 2 study activity.
You should begin to start thinking about your client’s risk factors as well as health promotion opportunities that you will develop in later sections of this assignment. For example, identify one genetic tendency for an actual or potential health problem. What health promotion and disease prevention strategies should be included in your plan? What patient education would be included in the plan of care?
