This corporate valuation project shall be based on the “Top-Down” approach. This
approach shall begin with examination of the overall macroeconomic environment,
the industry in which the team’s selected company operates and then draw some
implications about the prospects for the future operations and performance of the
subject corporation.
1. Brief analysis of the overall macroeconomic environment.
a. What major macroeconomic factors and developments are most likely to
affect the firm’s operations and performance? Why?
b. Identify whether the selected company’s operations or performance are
cyclical or non-cyclical (i.e., whether they are sensitive the overall economy
