ERPsim and SAP Analytic Cloud Assignment

To develop skills and gain knowledge on how to work with data, create visualizations, and make data driven decisions. Your graphs may not match 100% with the screenshots in the assignment. SAP Analytic Cloud is a cloud system which means that the system can be updated without warning and cause slight changes to where icons are located or how the data will be displayed. The tools are available but you may have to look around at times for them.
The goal is to gain experience using this type of system and to learn to make decisions based on your work with the data. Your grade will be based on the graphs that you create and the decisions/answers that you develop from your work. You will not become a data analyst expert by completing a couple of analytic assignments. Role
You are a business analyst working in an organization.
Audience
Your audience for this project will be your manager.
Situation
The ERPsim is an integrated business process simulation played in the SAP ERP system. This game simulates a commodity market wherein teams have to plan, procure, produce and sell products in a competitive environment. The goal is to strategize and run their company to gain the highest company valuation compared to other teams. The ERPsim generates and stores master data, transaction data, and market data that can be used for Business Intelligence and Decision Support development. By using the SAP Analytic Cloud software with the data generated by the ERPsim, business analysts could development visualizations and a digital boardroom to gain actionable insights from the data, to answer key organizational questions, and make intelligent decisions.
Product
You will produce visualizations and a digital boardroom using the ERPsim data in the Sap Analytic Cloud system.
Resources Needed
You will use SAP Analytics Cloud to acquire ERPSim game data, and to visualize and discover interesting trends. There is a SAP analytic cloud introductory video that you can watch in the Content Browser–>Module 4–>Materials & Resources -> SAP_Analytic_Cloud_IntroDemo.
You will create visualizations and Smart Discovery Predictive Analytics using the SAP Analytic Cloud system.
Follow the steps in this exercise > Project 3A: SAP ERPsim Analytics Cloud Instructions
You will need to download this data file > Project 3A Data File.
The instructions will guide you through cleansing the data and creating the data model.
You will also create data visualizations and answer the questions by inserting text in SAC where needed.
Publish (share) results with your professor and export the file to pdf and submit in the dropbox.Standards for Success
Deliverable: Each person should save their story using the following format yourname_ERPsim in the professor’s folder that was shared with you and submit the link and the exported pdf file in the dropbox. The story should include the visuals needed and the answers to the questions. The Smart Discovery Run and each Question answered should be on a separate page inside the SAC with each page titled the question number it is answering.
