This is based on two efforts: 1) the uploaded paper that you write and upload within this portal before the deadline; and 2) your in-class, 5-minute presentation that you present on your assigned day. Although a group of people will be presenting on the same day, this is not “group work.” So, you do NOT NEED to consult with anyone else since you will be providing your insight as to what you read, thought, associated with outside information, etc…
My job will be to provide an overview of the reading that everyone was supposed to read. Therefore, you will NOT discuss that. That is considered “old stuff. “You are being asked to bring “new stuff” to the table/discussion and to elaborate for 5 minutes.
- You will present your presentation during class on your appointed day. That will be worth up to 60 points.
- You will COMPLETELY upload your PPT slides no later than 11:58 p.m. by the due date. That will be worth up to 40 additional points. Don’t wait until the last minute!!! @#$#! happens!
Question: What are you supposed to write?
Answer: Write up your talking points (in an essay format….because this is college….) using the DEP method. The minimum number of words for your response is 500 words. The maximum number of words is 700. Five hundred words IS NOT AN A. So, you should target 698 to 702 to get an A on the writing assignment. Only the answer counts towards the word count (not your name and etc…). The last word that you write MUST be immediately followed by a correct word count placed in brackets. [ Like this: 87 words]
You MUST USE MOZILLA to upload your work. Please be sure to UPLOAD either an MS Word document or a PDF. Please do not copy and paste anything anywhere. Thanks!!
- Please retain any submission confirmation number. This may be needed to prove that you did submit your work.
- Please consult the gradebook if you want to know if your work was uploaded or not. Please do not ask me because it is easy to check for yourself.
