Healthcare is one of the most basic needs of a human being and it can be stated that the government should be efficient enough to provide the basic needs to all the human beings. Healthcare systems differ a lot from what it is in the urban section of the society to what it is in the rural because of very obvious reasons, therefore there are some problems regarding rural healthcare. They are:
The workforce of medical and health professionals are less in rural areas and the patient to physician is very low and there around 40 physicians every 100,000 people which is less than that from cities where it is around 54.
There are some economic factors too because the per capita income is less in rural areas therefore there is challenge of transportation, routine health check up, etc.
Lack of proper communication is also an issue, the lack of internet network is a reason they lack information regarding anything.
The probability of getting affected by a disease like diabetes and coronary heart disease is more in villages.
The chances of injury related death is also more than that in cities.
Lack of proper medical facilities like hospitals and laboratories is also a reason.
As providing proper healthcare in rural areas is a challenge the government should be looking into the issue and do the needful.
