This assessment requires you to identify and analyse the use of gamification techniques within an existing application (e.g., training, business, health). You are required to apply theoretical knowledge to assess the effectiveness of the application in promoting the desired behaviour change. Knowledge gained will be represented within a gamification framework. Undertaking this case study provides you with an opportunity to apply your knowledge by analysing an existing gamified application, assessing its effectiveness, and providing suggestions for improving the design. This should help to inform and justify design decisions made in later assessment. There are two parts to the case study: a report and a presentation. 1. The report provides a critical evaluation of a gamified application along with suggestions for improvement. The report must be no longer than 2000 words and is to be delivered via blackboard. 2. The presentation is a 4-6 minute overview of the report as if being delivered to a client. The presentation slides need to be submitted with the report and the presentation will take place in the lecture the week after the case study is due. You will be marked on the introduction, critical evaluation, and suggestions provided in your report, as well as your communication and presentation skills.
