Respond to the prompts below. Thorough responses require you to REFERENCE SPECIFIC EXAMPLES from your selected book which support / illustrate your responses. Provide as many examples as needed to thoroughly respond to the prompt. Additionally, bear in mind that prompt responses require you to provide some context / background from your selected book in order for your responses to make sense. This means you must explain terms and relevant situations raised in your selected book which deepen the meaning of your responses.
You must (in parenthesis) cite the pages you reference (for both prompts). Otherwise, your submission will not be graded. No exceptions.

Bear in mind that complex ideas / concepts may be addressed within multiple chapters of your selected book, and your summary should present a full overview of how the idea / concept evolved.
