Describe negotiation and the six objectives common to most negotiations. Explain how negotiations are different with a collaborative/alliance relationship.

Negotiation is a discussion which has a aim to reach an agreement. Both the party negotiates with each others to get the best agreement with their perspective. It is also called a method to settle the differences. Through the negotiation process an agreement or any compromise reach to the destination and all the disputes and conflicts are avoided.
Here are the six objectives as asked-
The first objective is to receive the quality product as per the expectation.
The second objective is to get the product at the fair market rate, market linked and suitable for both buyer and seller.
The third objective of negotiation is that obligations of both the party should be performed as per the timelines.
The control should be there o the performance of the contract.
There should be a co-operation between both the party in the negotiation and post negotiation.
It should build and develop a long term relationship between both the parties.
In collaborative relationship means sharing the resources for benefit of both the party. The resources like capital, knowledge, skills etc, but negotiation is done for reaching a contract.
