Goals: There are three goals for this lab report:
1. Gain experience with data collection and assessing reliability.
2. Gain experience with data entry and analysis in SPSS.
3. Gain experience and feedback on writing an introduction, methods section, results section, and discussion section.
Specifics: The lab report is to be 4 to 6 pages in length, double-spaced. Margins should be 1 in. around, the font size must be either 11 or 12 pt., and the paper should be left-justified (not centered). All pages should be stapled and numbered with your last name in the top right corner (e.g., Richert, 2). On the first page of your report, also include your name and SID, your lab group members, the course number, the date, and the name of this assignment (Infant Observation Lab Report). In addition, to avoid plagiarizing, be sure to include in-text citations and a reference page for the articles you reference; the reference page is not included in the 4- to 6-page requirement. Students must also submit a print-out of the data analysis output from SPSS.
