In a court situation, does a contract out weigh an employment handbook?

The outweighing of an employment handbook by a contract is a situational act in Court and depends upon the condition of the employment as mentioned in the Employment handbook. If the contents are specific such as that the employee shall be terminated from the employment only for a fair and just cause, then in such a case, the terms are rather definite in nature and can be enforceable as a contract itself in the Court of Law. However, in the situation where in the handbook it is clearly mentioned that such a handbook does not create a contract and that it is subject to changes or revocation of the terms and conditions, then in such a case, in a Court, the contract shall certainly outweigh an employment handbook.
