I am interested in studying the quality of care received by elderly patients.
In particular, I want to understand if a difference exists between family care giving and contract employee care giving with respect to the quality of care received by the patient.

H0 – there is no statistical difference in the quality of care to elderly patients between familial care and employee care
I have determined my alternative hypothesis to be:
H1 – there is a statistical difference in the quality of care to elderly patients between familial care and employee care
