It is difficult to ensure good communication on project basically because of the presence of global team involved in project and the difference in culture of people involved in it which create different sense on communication. Some prefere very formal communication in all project but soe needed more sensible and informal communication. Difference in mode of communication ( like verbal, through mails, face to face interactive session) etc has significant role in communication. Problem and decision making skills set difference is also a factor in communication.Difference in scope, time, priority of work also paves hindrance to good communication sometimes.
Project communication includes generating, collecting,storing and disseminating project related information.The necessity of sufficient softskill determines the efficiency of communication.It helps in influecing people and usage of right words, project jargons, tone of message etc can bring significant change in level of communication.The main strategies which can use in communication would be making the team on a motivational stage through effective communication. Ethical issues includes tyep of information to be shared within team members ( especially areas like costing/pricing, sharing confidential client data or contact info etc.). In that cases project managers should be very vigilant about the information he is sharing and should take necessary control to monitor the team activities.There should not be any insulting tone or favororitsm in the communication which may results in unfair practise and demotivation to the team members. Assertivness and proactivnes for communication is required to manage the ethics in project communication and the confidence of project manager in all sort of communication can really brings a good impact.
