This week we looked at how technology allows workers to telecommute and “work from home”. Your company has decided to allow the sales team to telecommute and work in the field. You have 25 sales people who will be working outside of the walls of your organization. You are charged with developing a plan that includes specifics about PC equipment, remote connectivity to company servers and information, and collaboration tools like web video conferencing and file sharing.
This reply submission should be in the form of a letter to your company CEO or to the highest management report level for IT. Mention some specifics such as both benefits and challenges of implementation. You must have at least 2 scholarly journal articles along with your text to support your analysis. Try to find articles that are less than 5 years old.
