Is a Philosopher a Leader?That is the basic question. Really, based on what Plato says are the characteristics of a philosopher (the list we had on the board today) consistent with what you want in a leader. It is now on Canvas in a little longer form. Hopefully that makes sense. Having just gone over Plato’s elements of a philosopher’s nature, do you consider them consistent with what you would want in a leader? Is Plato convincing you that these philosophic characteristics would make a good king or is something missing?
