While selection of candidate there are several areas observed by the interviewer in selection process but personality always attract to every interviewer.
Personality of candidates is physical appearance of candidate.
Organizations are looking performance oriented candidate but personality always struck to their mind.
There are the following critical issues that arise when studying individual personality traits for selection-
1) Skill and experience of that candidates.
2) Future performance.
3) Is candidate justifying his job?
4) Decrease of productivity of organization.
5) Investment on training and development.
As per my views personality matters a lot but we must thing over the job profile of that position.
If technical requirement of that profile then we must hire somebody who from technical background.
If position is senior level and experience will be required for justifying for position then we must consider the experience personality for that position.
Personality has physical existence but skill, latent, knowledge and traits always consider because performance will be come from these traits.
