This is an essay for my humanities class here are the instructions my professor gave me :
Who doesn’t want another excuse to watch Netflix (or iTunes/Amazon/Hulu/etc.)? Or maybe we’re totally sick of being in our homes! Either way, most museums and performance spaces are closed for the time being. For this reason our Final assignment for the semester will consist of a reflection essay on a film to be chosen from the list provided below. This is only a partial list of films that are influential due to their contributions to cinematography, story, dialogue, direction, music, editing, acting, and/or insight into the human condition. If you are interested in writing about another movie, contact me with your justification for approval (FYI, I rarely approve children’s movies). The movies on this list are available online to rent via iTunes, Amazon, or other online platforms for a nominal fee (usually around $3-4). Use the following criteria and guidelines to navigate this assignment and try to include as many of these criteria that are relevant to the film you select. Focus on the major themes of the film and how those themes impact the viewer. Make sure you upload it to the Final Essay Dropbox on the Corona Module page on Blackboard.

Relevance of the movie to our Course’s subject in general
Focus on the main themes

Was it more or less sociologically oriented? How so?

Speculate about variety of impacts on others.
What did you learn, and/or how did it enhance your understanding?

Writing Guidelines
Your essay must be at least 700 words, and no longer than 900 total.
Times New Roman 12-point font
Black (not colored) text
Double-spaced
1-inch margins on each side
Be concise; don’t clutter your paper with meaningless “filler.” Stay on task with the items you decide to talk about. “Filler” will only lower your grade. Do not focus the majority of the paper on just the synopsis. This should be no more than a paragraph.
Do not copy phrases or content from the internet, or from any source you use for research. Your own ideas and reflections are the only ones of any value for this assignment. Think about what we’ve discussed this semester and link it with something you saw or heard, then turn it into your own statement. If you do happen to use the ideas of another, make sure you properly cite it using either MLA or APA style.
This assignment should NOT be written like a text message, Facebook post, or Twitter rant. Writing is a skill that takes practice. If you are writing in Microsoft Word, use the spell check. If writing has always been a challenge for you (or not), please contact the Kendall Campus Writing Center at 305-237-0677.
This report is an individual project. It should not be written with other students. Any papers that are plagiarized will be turned back to the student and an “F” grade will be given. Make sure to upload your paper to the dropbox within the Corona Module folder and read your originality report. If your paper is above 5% copied (excluding quotes) make the necessary changes before re-submitting it into the dropbox.
