Sam Davidson one of the founder of Cool people care started the business model as a website for social venture and as a non profit organisation.It is intended to help the needed community.Initially the website offers two main features. One was 5 minutes of caring which propose single action and second one is a long term action plan oriented activity for seeking volunteers and job opportunity specific to different city. Gradually they changed the business inorder to meet the requirements and generating more attention to their social venture.He started added training sessions and new revenue stream to the business, they added ‘partner page’ that projects the list of volunteers, action oplans, contact info,donation buttons, announcements, job opportunities etc. They also added corporate sponsorship pages to highlight the requirment and promote the organisation to the corporate world and seeking their help. The most significant change in the model was adding merchanidizing link/ business to the pages and they started selling Cool people branded T shirts with logo and resuable shopping bags. They also promote fair trade coffee poweders, bumper stickers for cars etc. This helps them to raise the revenue which they can utilise for all social venture projects. Thus the company redeinfed their business model over time inroder to adapt with the required change and to move out of conventional fund raising programs. Thus they become successful by making people involve in generating fund directly and indirectly.
