Students will need to write a paper that explores a biblical passage and its missional significance. The biblical passage could arise out of the student’s research into the ministry or program that s/he has chosen for her/his final project (e.g., what passage(s) do they highlight as essential in their work?). This should be a step towards the student’s final project.This assignment should:· Analyze a particular biblical passage, interpreting it in light of its socio-political and literary context (to do this well, students should consult at least 3 different biblical commentaries in order to better understand and analyze the particular passage);· Examine and highlight its meaning;· Articulate the missional implications it has for the church.
