Gender Equality: A Case for Egyptian Prosperity

4000 words

I am about to head to Egypt for a research project titled “Gender Equality: A Case for Egyptian Prosperity” where I will be interviewing Egyptians (from across the Egyptian stratum) on female empowerment in the economic workforce. I need assistance with the background, literature review, scholarly arguments/counterarguments, and current policy positions of the Egyptian government to build the base of this study.

I have attached a copy of the previous study, for your info/background. It is not a finished product and is being reviewed/polished as a final product. But I wanted to give you the background on recommendations I made for female empowerment through structural economic reforms.

I have also attached a copy of working thoughts on the current research topic, questions, and outcomes. It has a primer for the research and generally divides the research into two discernable categories – 1. scholarly research, academic consensus, argument/counterargument and 2. field research gained through interview of the Egyptian population.

The end product needs to be a ~4000-5000 word product with graphs, charts, maps, etc. All references must be cited in APA format. The product should attempt to find scholars that recommend social reforms along the lines (or opposed to the direction) of female economic inclusion. The product should also include policy recommendations (for the Egyptian Government to undertake) in order to acheive female empowerment and economic inclusion. I will add my field data from interviews in Egypt and tailor the product to the field data afterword.

Let me know if this is something you would be interested in undertaking and what the prix fixe would be. I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Topic, Questions, and Outcomes
Working Title/Topic: Gender Equality – A Case for Egyptian Prosperity
Background: In a previous research study (Analysis of the IMF-Egypt Program and Potential for
Revolution), empirical evidence demonstrated the untapped economic resource of the female
workforce in Egypt (6.1, 6.2, and 6.5). The study built upon existing research and provided original data
suggesting structural economic reform would be tolerable to the Egyptian population. Finally, with the
aim of achieving economic goals and avoiding social unrest, the study recommended structural
economic reforms to empower women in the workforce as an economic engine of growth.
Significance to the Community: As the background indicates, there are navigable solutions to the
political economy of Egypt in the modern revolution epoch. However, how do seemingly suitable
solutions to the political economy of Egypt stack up against cultural and anthropological realities?
Solutions aimed at addressing the Egyptian political economy can only be as successful as they are
supported by the cultural beliefs/values of the Egyptian population. Currently, there are several bodies
of empirical research enumerating Egypt in terms of modern-day gender equality, gender equity, gender
disparity, and gender discrimination (World Bank Data, OECD Data, IMF Data, UN Data, IMAGES-MENA,
etc.). The prevailing academic consensus would indicate there are substantial challenges (female
economic participation, inequitable gender roles, gender based violence, religious law, cultural norms,
etc.) to any proposed structural economic reforms aimed to empower women in the workforce.
However, there are limited research studies focused on the subcultural perceptions and undercurrents
of gender equality. Further research on the underlying subcultural perceptions would give indications as
to the cultural tides of female empowerment. How do Egyptian Millennials interpret the issues? What
is the difference in parity between women and men in the home, workplace, and government amongst
the wealthy? Is there a cultural tipping point for civil equivalency on the horizon and is it
identifiable/influenceable? This proposed research intends to illuminate the subcultural understandings
of gender equality in Egypt. In this vein, the proposed research will build upon the previously mentioned
study, attempt to identify competing alternatives of academic consensus, utilize the previous study’s
data to enrich the analytical process, and drive toward informative interviews to gain insights on
findings. The significance of this research will culminate in policy recommendations to reinforce and
accelerate cultural underpinnings toward gender parity and operationalizing subcultural currents of
Egyptian female empowerment.
Questions:
• Current cultural situation (existing research):
o What is the current state of affairs for gender inequality in Egypt?
o Global Gender Gap Index?
o World Bank/UN Data (employment, workforce %, labor stats, etc.)?
o Social Institutions and Gender Index?
• Examining the subcultural currents:
o How is gender equality viewed through different subcultural prisms?
o How do different age groups view gender equality?
o How do different Egyptian religious sects view gender equality?
o How do men and women view gender equality?
o How do differing socioeconomic classes view gender equality?
o How does education level impact views on gender inequality?
• Cultural Will:
o Is there a definable cultural tipping point to support gender parity?
o Are their structural policy changes that can cement cultural will and reinforce the
positive cultural currents?
o What are the competing cultural forces to any positive cultural currents toward positive
change?
• Political Will:
o Is there a definable political will for cultural change toward gender parity?
o What is the current government position regarding gender equality?
o Are there any political (social, religious, or otherwise) red-lines established to govern
political thresholds?
• Social/Civil Reforms
o Are there complementary social/civil reforms available to the Sisi regime to employ in
concert with the cultural currents of change toward gender parity?
o Can complimentary social reforms be designed/aimed at reinforcing economic reforms
for female empowerment in the workforce?
Outcomes:
• Remember. Describe the positions of current subcultures in Egypt.
• Understand. Review and Predict the effects of gender inequality on the economic and political
spheres in Egypt.
• Apply. Produce a list of social/civil reforms aimed at achieving gender parity without alienating
major political subcultures of Egyptian society.
• Analyze. Research, Interview, and Analyze the top competing alternatives for cultural
acceptance and political will.
• Evaluate. Evaluate the competing alternatives for social impact and Prioritize recommendations
according to impact, social acceptance, and political will.
• Create. Synthesize and Propose a final list of social/civil policy reforms supported by field data
to integrate Gender Equality with Economic Reforms.

Gender inequality

4 pages, MLA or APA,
For your final paper, please research a topic or question that explores some aspect of gender inequality. Since the paper is only required to be 4-5 pages, I suggest picking a specific topic, such as gender representation in contemporary Disney films, as opposed to something more broad, as in gender and film.

Please use at least three different peer reviewed, refereed sources. Wikipedia does not count. Feel free to use the internet, but be sure that your sources are legitimate – and not “fake news.” Websites that include .org or .edu tend to be more reliable. If you have any questions about your sources, please let me know.

Be sure to consult the rubric for the evaluation criteria.

Where triples go to die

Hello I would like to know if you could write a 750 word paper regarding the book “Where triples go to die” by Phil Hutcheon. I have to answer a question of If the novel had been written in 1950, would it have been banned? You will need to support your position with hard evidence, such as similar themes/scenes in books that were banned at the time…etc.

If the novel had been written in 1950, would it have been banned? You will need to support your position with hard evidence, such as similar themes/scenes in books that were banned at the time…etc. You need to write a short research (750-1000)word essay in MLA .
You must use at least 4 sources and one of those sources must come from one of San Joaquin Delta College Library’s  data bases. You may not use Wikpedia or one of the sparknotes type sites as a source. You will need to include a works cited to your essay / project in MLA format.

TO IMPLEMENT:

the methodology addressing, (i dont even know what it is)
What research HAS BEEN done in order to answer the research questions?
What was the role of primary vs. secondary research?

what quantitative information had been collected

Respondent selection seemed to be largely uncontrolled and needed more explanation and a summary profile given, please draw yourself one

ethical considerations

figure 2 says needs to have more explaination, in case you could extend a little its analysys also making up new things

Axis labels in charts, whats that?

here comes an abstract, feel free to fix it best and use as a model, take it also off the wordcount if you want but i d like the final work to follow its path, you just work on the Points we said and developing them even with phoney data you can take off wherever you will, but the beginning chapters of the thesis which i m gonna take care about, is gonna stay the same, feel also free to ´connect´ and integrate those pages with the previous you wrote, extending or enriching the existent work you have done, i trust in you honesty with the wordcount.
important is to keep the datas of which i took out the stats, those the professor already knows about unfortunately. i wrote in the abstract the ds clinics were just 50 cause i took off the private ones, its a beginning, but the sample to me still sounds relevant.
merge the good work you have done with the new you gonna do, do not repeat stuff from the previous chapters or previous work of yours but feel free to use the references or make up new ones if useful. let me know if you see the abstract i uploaded.

The impact of female empowerment on the Egyptian economy.

I am conducting research on United States Special Operations in support of large-scale operations since 1914. The case study I would like you to complete is on the Eighth Army Ranger Company during the Korean War. The research should include a general narrative, the objectives the Special Operations planners hoped to achieve, how they combined a variety of techniques to achieve those goals, coordination with conventional (large-scale) forces, and the degree to which they succeeded. In this framework, I would like to compare and contrast “The Defense of Hill 205”, Operation Ripper, and Operation Killer.

The end product needs to be a ~4000-5000 word product with graphs, charts, maps, etc. All references must be cited in Chicago Style Guidelines.

I will need a 250-300 word proposal/abstract by 22nd May 2018. Final product is required by 30thth May 2018. If you can complete it sooner…that would be great. These dates allow enough time for me to integrate the research into other case studies.

The compare/contrast of the named operations should attempt to support the thesis that Special Operations should not conduct traditional military tasks, but are best utilized in their role as SOF. “Defense of Hill 205” is the paramount example of SOF being mis-utilized in conventional tasks; they suffered ~80% casualties as a result. Operation Ripper and Killer are ready examples of Special Operations being used to support large-scale operations through deep strike and reconnaissance capabilities. 8th Army Ranger Company’s success in SOF tasks and capabilities proved the SOF hypothesis of the day and they served as the benchmark and organizational example for the Rangers we know today as the Army’s elite airborne infantry units.

This paper is germane to modern day SOF planning efforts. The US military has not faced a conventional force since Korea and Desert Storm. Lessons learned from the success and failure of 8th Army Ranger Company should serve as a primer for SOF planners; success is steeped in history.

I completely agree with the use of SPSS to provide statistical analysis on the impact of female empowerment on the Egyptian economy.

Looking back at the requirements for the Korean case study, I cannot see how economic impact analysis is applicable. The requirement is a case study analysis of Eighth Army Ranger Company during the Korean War to include: a general narrative, the objectives the Special Operations planners hoped to achieve, how they combined a variety of techniques to achieve those goals, coordination with conventional (large-scale) forces, and the degree to which they succeeded. This project should compare/contrast this analytical framework for the following operations: “The Defense of Hill 205”, Operation Ripper, and Operation Killer.

If you can highlight the use of SPSS in the context of this requirement, I am happy to add on to the gig. Perhaps you could send me a draft of the Abstract (understand it is due 25 May and it may be in progress)…it may help me see where SPSS would be put to use.

Thoughts?

Human Resources part is staffing and training

The main point is what are decisions that you see relating to my department of Human Resources and how have they changed over the three years. How have the decisions helped the company?

am the department head for Human resources
Human Resources part is staffing and training

The question and main information is in Hotel Analysis:
Written Report

The jpegs are of a flow chart of some listed information, but the years 1, 2,3, 3 changed documents are the authentic data. Attached is also a document to explain what more of what they are looking for in the analysis.

The following are questions and answers that I got to some questions about the jpegs.

2. In year 1 desired revenue section: the first three months have nothing, as the company was just starting? No, they got something in ‘based on estimated occupancy’ section which is Jan: 38%, Feb: 45% and Mar: 45%. And the ‘pay level’ in Jan is 2 & 1, Feb is 2 and Mar is 2. Perhaps you should turn forward the sheet.
Later it has one number in red, does that mean, it did not reach its desired revenue?
Which means my teammates set the desired revenue to be 350000, but actually, our hotel was reaching 388831 by Sep.
Later it has two numbers in black what does that mean? they set the desired revenue to be 450000, but actually, our hotel eas reaching 470000 by Nov.

3. In year 2, tons of information is missing. I see more banqueting that is why you have increased extra staff members in new areas. Additionally, what are the two different % numbers in revenue mean? Which means they set the % to be 50%, but actually is 59.6%.

Here are more notes relating the data for year 3, it is from the groups plan. Remember, I am human resources. With emphasis on staff and training

If you have more questions send them to me, and I will try to give you adequate answers.
