Important tip: Make sure the artwork is from the Ancient Near East (or Mespotamia as it is sometimes called.) tip: don’t just post a description of an artwork — you need to directly show how it relates to the topic. Based on your understanding of the artwork from what you can research on it, post an image or link and then describe how the artwork reflects its historical context. What values or political or religious ideas does it express about its culture? How does the art work do this? Important: Your post should define the topic and use an example without quoting or copying from source material.
