Answer:
Transformational leadership:
-In this style of leadership,the leader works with the subordinates and identify the changes,inspire the followers and execute the change with the team members or followers
-These leaders causes a change in individuals and social systems
-They create a positive change among followers with a vision of transforming the followers into leaders
-These leaders believe in their followers for success while they act as role model and inspire the followers
-These leaders understand the strength and weakness of their followers and assign tasks based on that
-They are adaptive leaders and the followers can be trained to become leaders
-They focus on changing the organization and their followers
-They tend to work more for the betterment of the organization and their followers
-These leaders can be replaced by the next in line officer in the organization if they are trained well
Strengths:
-They care for the well being of their individual followers
-These leaders hear for the followers personal issues also and provide solutions to them and make them feel positive
-These leaders are inspiring,daring,risk taking and thoughtful thinkers
-This leadership approach creates an enthusiastic work environment and drives a company with changes and innovations
Criticisms:
-Sometimes the followers may feel that these leaders are more into their personal issues
-Decision making may sometimes go wrong because these leaders allow their followers to make decisions
-Followers may be manippulated by leaders and there are chances that they may lose more than they gain
-In this style of leadership,the followers are motivated for the good of the organization not the other way round
-These leaders tend to depend more on passion and emotion and they fail to overlook the harsh truth and reality
My leadership style:
The leadership quality i possess is based on transformational style.I tend to inspire people with my hard work and explain them the situations clearly and make them accept to my decision with their willingness.While working in a team ,i tend to inspire others with my innovative ideas for changes
