I have an ajax—Is it possible to have a variable inside the $.ajax url:? In the case bellow I want the id = (var id) $.ajax({ dataType: ‘json’, url: ‘http://api.blah?id={$id},us&……..myId’, data: data, success: (data) => { console.log(data) } });

You can always have a variable sandwiched inside your URL as long as your server is capable enough to handle the request.
AJAX requests are made to receive a XML content from the server and update the page accordingly.
make sure your URL statement looks like
`url: ‘http://api.blah?id={$id},us&……..myId`,
