The complexity of this issue can come from a variety of causes to what is the terrorist origin, geographical displacement, and what motivated the individual or group to do these types of acts. When you hear terrorism in today’s society the mind set already starts to relate to death and destruction. In the chapter reading it points out five types of terrorism which are based on motivation with the following state sponsored, left and right, dissident, religious, and criminal. Different facets of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has multiple agencies who at times work together in gathering intelligence and combating terrorism. The objective of this acts is to keep the countries away from others and have collaboration from friendly countries to try to keep terrorist within their broader.  In conclusion, it seems that not every individual incident can be easily labeled into the five categories of physiological or motivation. Until people learn to live with one another and we teach the next generation to be aware it will be a long and painful process for society to change. As long as countries and people work together to stop this type of violence we can expect change. The Judicial system just needs to strictly enforce the full penalty for such acts of terrorism and hold the individuals accountable.
