Description-
create an academic poster that summarizes the key points relating to each of the three business functions that you have studied so far: Human Resources, Managing Information and Marketing. Summarizing your work in this way is an important skill and will allow you to illustrate how business functions relate to each other, in a way that peers and colleagues can easily view.
Your poster should be a visual representation of the key features of those business functions, and how they relate to each other.
Key areas for the poster to concentrate on are:
1) What are the business functions, and why are they significant within a business context;
2) A summary of what each function does and is responsible for;
3) How do each of the functions relate to each other.
4) How can information be presented in a creative way Correct and clear presentation of sources
Assessment Criteria
The student should be able to demonstrate the following:
1) Achievement of the module specific learning outcome
2) a) The business functions are clearly stated;
b) Explains the connections between each of the functional areas;
3) The design and layout of the poster encourages and enables the audience to engage with the content;
4) Use of sources (including referencing which must be consistent with the School of Business & Enterprise Harvard Referencing);
5) Application of theory, use of principles and concepts;
6) Evidence of creative thinking.
