The textile industry is the second largest polluter after the oil industry in the world, but the incitement to contribute to recycling industry is low. Textile manufacturing is one of the main contributors to greenhouse gas emission. There is an increased demand in textile production and low recycling rate worldwide. This result in misbalance of environmental and industrial ecosystems. The increase of life cycle of textile products should, therefore, be in focus. It is needed for the development of textile waste management globally.
The textile industry needs to look to other industries on how they can gain better sustainability and reduced greenhouse gas emissions. The international society and local government need to demand producer responsibility and deposits in the textile industry. Textile producers should pay full recycling costs under the waste scheme.
I need a scientific article that can be published in a journal, it’s important that the writer can review other industries such as;
– Plastic industry
– Metal Industry
– Glass industry
– Paper industry
– Electronic industry
Examples from the above-mentioned industry need to be taken into consideration for the textile industry.
Textile collections and recycling cost a lot of money to operate and worldwide practice shows low investment and lack of the economy to support the increasing recycling manufacturer.
As an example the plastic industry with plastic bottles has a deposit on the plastic bottles, such fee could also be applied for the textile industry. This deposits the consumer gets back when they deliver back the empty bottles.
The recycling cost and collection of the used textile are heavy and cost a lot of money, today the textile industry does not contribute financially to the collection and recycling of used and collected textiles. This means that too much textile ends up as landfill or is burned.
The article should be on 25 pages and have 100 sources.
