Share your experience of working with a “learning organization”. according to Raymond Noe (Employee Training and Development 6th edition)

Raymond noe stressed on the importance on training and development for acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies and it should form important part of learning organization. My personal experience of working with a learning organization followed the principles of Raymond Noe. The organization stressed on learning through training wherein efforts were planned for facilitating learning and using job related competencies. It made use of development and formal training and development programs effectively. Courses and events were organized by the company and there were casual and unplanned events like peers, email and interactions like informal mentoring which helped for developing and motivating the intention of learning. It used a systematic approach with assessment to understand the importance of training. This was followed by understanding the training content and understanding the evaluation plan for influencing training and determining the monetary benefits.
