MBO:
Management by objective is a process in which the leaders and employees will work together and set a goal which needs to be completed in a certain time period. The manager and employees engage and work together to achieve the goal of the organization.
The following are the common elements of MBO programs and goal setting theory:
1. The goals are measurable and reliable and the goal is the common element in the MBO program and goal setting theory.

3. Time is considered to be an element as where that determines on the completion of the project which helps towards achieving the goal of the organization.
