Imagine that you are hired to manage an underperforming department of a business. Upon assessing day to day operations for a period of time, you observe that there appears to be a good deal of confusion in the department. The problems run the gamut from unmotivated employees to those who either don’t know what they should be doing or don’t know how to do their job. Suggest a plan of correction to improve the department’s outcomes. In your response to your classmates, compare and contrast your plan with theirs. How can either be improved?

Following are the plans to improve the department outcomes———–
1. job responsibility, give job responsibility to the employees , give them authority to perform their task and take several decisons related to their assigned task. give responsibilities to the qualified workers and trust that that they will perform the task well. this gives the employees the opportunity to gain the skill and also leadership experience of the employee benefitted the company.
2. Train the employee, provide proper training to the employee and help them to expand their skill and also build advance wrkforce. individual coaching, mentoring, workshop and various semiar are organised to motivate the employee.
3. communicate effectively, communication is the key to productive workforce, proper communication can improve the performance of the employee, time to time meeting should be organised , so that there will be no communication related to the task.
4. keep goal clear and focused——-goal should be clear and focused to each and every employee so that they can perform accordingly. if the goal is not clear then the employee will be less productive. so you should make sure each and every employee should know their goal .
5. Reward and incentives given to the worker for their extraordinary task. give the employee reason to perform their task effectively. reward and incentives motivate them to perform their task more effectively.
