The first right granted to minors in contract law cases is the right to disaffirm. In this case same rule applied, sam enter into a contract when he was minor but can disaffirm the contract when he reached a age of minority. So in my point of view sam can disaffirm as per the law rules. although Courts are split as to whether the minor needs to pay for any repairs or the decrease in value of a good that benefited the minor.
