When good people do bad things, what are the different methods they use in minimizing personal moral responsibility? Briefly describe at least four such methods.

Below are the different methods they use in minimizing personal moral responsibility:
Displacement of responsibility: In this people try and attribute responsibility of personal action resulting in violation of others moral standards to others.
Disregard/Distortion of Consequences: It is when people try to minimize the harm caused by them.
Dehumanization: It occurs when people treat others badly who are dehumanized.
Attribution of blame: It is defined when people try to justify personal immoral behavior as they are caused by some other person action.
