Another advantage is that it is easy to get in contact with other members of the project team through Outlook, Skype for business, Teams, etc, members of each team can communicate in real time, and it offers the choice of instant chat, conference calls or the most common one, e-mail. Microsoft Project is known for being flexible and contains powerful functionalities that are based on real experiences that users have shared in order to improve and accommodate their needs. Its main functionality is to predict future outcomes, visualize what is going on and tracking progress. One of the disadvantages of Microsoft Project is that for the majority of users, it is easy to use, however, it may be difficult and requires of constant training when it comes to a project that has customized features. Another one is that users have encountered difficulties and time consuming, when it comes to customized reports, also real-time dashboards make it hard to keep up on top of the projects.
