Music had an effect on the was message is communicated effectively to the people and lyrics plays an important role for delivering the message. The lyrics of Ed Sheeran’s songs revive around d the important five elements of well being. This includes positive emotions, engagement, positive relationships, meaning which is enhanced and achievement (Seligman 2002). The element of positive emotion comes across and it is related to sheer interest, inspiration and love. The positive lyrics engaged with people and it helps them to have high quality connections and interactions by feeling a click with the lyrics.
Music forms the anchor to positive emotions and it serves as important source of meaning with higher engagement and motivation. It encourages positivity with lyrics like “a woman stronger than anyone I know. She shares my dreams. I hope that some day I will share her home”. It serves as the positive love message.
